SNCF IoT Monitoring Platform
Internal IoT monitoring platform for visualizing telemetry data, configuring alerts, analyzing anomalies and generating reports.
Internal project: some information and interfaces cannot be published.

Illustration of IoT monitoring: sensors connected to an API and a database, a dashboard with a curve crossing a threshold, an alert and a report.

Context
Developed during an engineering apprenticeship at SNCF, this internal platform supports the supervision of IoT sensor telemetry.
Problem
The application brings together telemetry visualization, alert configuration, anomaly analysis and report generation in one internal workflow.
My contribution
Full-stack work covered Angular interfaces, Node.js and Express REST APIs, sensor-data processing, configurable threshold alerts, silent-sensor monitoring, reporting and authentication integration.
The project also included Highcharts data visualizations, AI-assisted features, Docker-based deployment and GitLab CI/CD.
Architecture
An Angular and TypeScript client communicates with Node.js and Express services. Prisma connects application services to Microsoft SQL Server, while OIDC / SSO handles authentication. Docker and GitLab CI/CD support deployment.
Key engineering decisions
Alerting covers configurable thresholds and silent sensors. Highcharts is used for telemetry visualization, and the application services are containerized for deployment.
Challenges
The application contains internal interfaces and monitoring data. Public presentation is therefore limited to an original abstract diagram with no branding, identifiers, values or internal structure.
What I learned
The project provided practical experience across frontend visualization, API design, database integration, authentication, alerting, reporting and deployment within one full-stack system.
